Dr. Deidra C. Morrison PT, DPT, PCES

Professional portrait of Dr. Deidra Morrison, an Orlando Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in

Founder of Dr. Dei's Physical Therapy Centre

Dr. Deidra C. Morrison is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy and the founder of Dr. Dei’s Physical Therapy Centre, a boutique outpatient physical therapy clinic in Orlando, Florida. With more than 20 years of clinical experience, she is passionate about helping people reduce pain, restore mobility, and remain active throughout every stage of life.

Dr. Morrison believes that movement is an essential part of maintaining strength, independence, and quality of life. Her guiding philosophy, “Just Keep Moving,” reflects her commitment to helping patients return to the work, exercise, family activities, and everyday routines that matter most to them.

She founded Dr. Dei’s Physical Therapy to provide the personalized care that is often missing in large, high-volume clinics. At her Orlando practice, patients receive attentive, one-on-one treatment with a Doctor of Physical Therapy rather than being passed between multiple providers or spending most of their appointment with a technician. Every treatment plan is customized according to the patient’s symptoms, examination findings, lifestyle, and personal goals.

Dr. Morrison specializes in women’s pelvic floor physical therapy, pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation, pelvic pain treatment, urinary incontinence, orthopedic pain management, and vestibular and balance rehabilitation. She is also a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, allowing her to provide specialized support for pregnancy-related discomfort, postpartum healing, diastasis recti, core weakness, urinary leakage, and a safe return to exercise after childbirth.

Her clinical experience also includes treating neck and back pain, hip and knee pain, shoulder injuries, balance dysfunction, Parkinson’s disease, neurological conditions, and other musculoskeletal concerns. Her individualized treatment programs may incorporate therapeutic exercise, advanced manual therapy techniques, Pilates-based rehabilitation, yoga, Tai Chi-style movement, balance training, and patient education.

Dr. Morrison’s interest in physical therapy began at age 15 after meeting a physical therapist during a career day in her 10th-grade biology class. That experience made such a lasting impression that each step of her education was intentionally directed toward becoming a physical therapist.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia State University in 2002. She then attended Howard University in Washington, D.C., where she earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2005 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2012.

Throughout her career, Dr. Morrison has practiced in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., West Virginia, and Florida across a variety of healthcare and outpatient rehabilitation settings. In 2026, she expanded her role as an educator by teaching Pathology within a Physical Therapist Assistant curriculum, sharing her clinical knowledge and experience with future rehabilitation professionals.

Dr. Morrison is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, participating in Peloton workouts, playing soccer and dance games with her family, and returning to Virginia State University for Homecoming. As a former Virginia State University Woo Woo cheerleader, movement and school spirit remain an important part of her life.

Dr. Morrison brings clinical expertise, compassion, energy, and a genuine love for people to every patient interaction. Whether you are seeking pelvic floor physical therapy, pregnancy or postpartum rehabilitation, pain management, balance therapy, or orthopedic physical therapy in Orlando, Dr. Dei is committed to helping you move with greater comfort, strength, and confidence.
